She will not go quietly. My Twister that shared my life. In subtle ways she lets me know That her spirit still survives. Old habits still make me think I hear a barking at the door. Or I step back when I drop a tasty morsel on the floor. My feet still go around the place her food dish used to be. And coming home at night. I miss her terribly. And although time may bring new friends and a new food dish to fill. That one place in my heart belongs to Twister and always will.
